Keith – Threes EP

Following the completion, and release, of the Vice & Virtue album Keith set themselves up in Salford’s Sacred Trinity Church, with the aim to produce a series of extra tracks with a warm, organic feel that’s at odds with the electronic album.   The resulting recordings are collected upon the Threes EP, which is officially released today and is sadly to be the last release by the band, as the foursome have decided to close the chapter on Keith (for now).

It’s a truly wonderful and moving EP, and it is a fitting footnote to the career of one of the most furiously creative, but criminally under-rated, bands in the UK. 

Record Store Day 2009 – Tellier vs Keith

On Saturday, April 18, 2009, independently-owned music stores across the country are celebrating Record Store Day. On this day, all of these stores will simultaneously link and act as one with the purpose of celebrating the unique cultural place that they occupy, both in their local communities, and as part of the national identity.

As a 100% independently owned label, we rely on the great support these stores provide our releases, & so we knew we had to contribute something special to the day.

Keith – Lullaby

Keith have just released Lullaby the second single from Vice & Virtue, the forthcoming masterful sophomore album recorded with white-hot producer Dan Carey (Franz Ferdinand/Hot Chip/La Roux). Built on dreamy pianos and jazzy drums, Lullaby is a breeze of pure escapism, its lyrics yearning for a better place.
