Dream Wife have quickly became one of the foremost up-and-coming bands in the UK, and ahead of their U.S. debut at SXSW and tour with The Kills they share an anthemic new single.  On “Somebody,” a driving bass-line meets elegant yet gritty guitars to reinforce the lyrical message of the song – “I am not my body, I am somebody.” The single premiered last night on Radio 1.

Dream Wife on “Somebody”-

“Somebody’ is a ballad for women. The song explores the experience of living in a female body within our society. It’s a conversation on the reclamation of bodies by the women who occupy them in a tender, yet direct and empowering way.”
